On Friday 11th October 2024, some of the league committee members attended the Nottinghamshire FA Grassroots Football Awards, hosted at the Notts County Ground. This was to pick up the award for League of the Year. It was a great awards night, with plenty of socialising, speeches (and free food and drink 😉). 

A massive congratulations to all the other awardees who attended, and to Nottinghamshire FA for hosting a wonderful awards evening. Also a big thank you to everyone who nominated the EMPD League for League of the Year, we couldn’t have won this without you.

Next stop, getting recognised at the National Awards in 2025. Fingers crossed the League is recognised at National level 🤞
